Manufacturing Capabilities

Offering a full line of manufacturing capabilities from from injection molding to assembly

Aria offers a full range of manufacturing services.  Injection molding, Ultrasonic welding and electronics assembly are just a few of our manufacturing capabilities.

Cell Grading

Cell grading ensures only the best cells are used

Before we assemble any battery pack, we test all of the cells to ensure that they meet our rigorous quality standards.  Our cell grading process runs through charge and discharge cycles, checking the integrity of each cell.  Only the highest quality cells are used in Aria battery packs.

Tooling

Rapid tool development for faster time to market

With more than 30 years of experience, Aria has developed and owns more than 1000 injection molds.  Our team knows how to build your mold right the first time.  And in the rare event that something goes wrong, we know how to fix it.

Injection Molding

In-House injection molding shop

Because we run our own injection molding shop, your job will never be held up waiting on plastics.  We use only top quality plastics imported from reputable sources in our injection process so you get the best quality product every time. We never add scrap plastic back into the injection process to ensure durability of our products.

Spot Welding

Spot welding for durability

In many battery packs the cells are joined in serial or parallel.  We spot weld the connections using 100% pure nickel sheet metal for a perfect connection between the cells. Our spot welding process ensures durability and excellent conductivity.

Hand Soldering

Hand soldering when needed

For battery packs that require hand soldering, our skilled technicians use only ROHS compliant solder and all joints are checked after soldering to ensure a good connection.

Ultrasonic Welding

Ultrasonic welding for a perfect seal

We do not use cheap glue or adhesives in our manufacturing process.  All battery packs are sealed using ultrasonic welding, which bonds the plastic together for a perfect seal.  Ultrasonic welding ensures our battery packs can withstand up to 1.5M drop tests.

X-Ray Inspection

X-Ray inspection after assembly

Aria utilizes X-Ray inspection technology to look inside of each battery pack after it is fully assembled to ensure that there are no assembly defects after ultrasonic welding.  X-Ray inspection helps ensure nothing was missed during the assembly process.
